This summer has been extremely busy. I'm sure you're wondering where the posts have gone, right? Well I didn't fall off the face of the Earth, if that's what you were thinking!
I have been busy playing with Glass Beads and charms to create some new designs. I have made some completely new things. Pieces that are not only new to you, but new to me as well. I have dabbed with brass findings, charms and different glass beads to bring some totally new and original pieces straight from my imagination.
Inspiration came immediately for the first piece I made. It's a beaded link bracelet twisted with copper chain with bee, lady bug and flower charms hanging from it. It's in my shop now and is called "Helen's Garden" after my grandmother. Thoughts of her and her garden inspired it, so it was only fitting to name it after her. I'm going to check out some pendants and make a matching necklace in the very near future {when life finally slows down and I can design again}.

I picked out my beads, knowing that I would be making some kind of charm bracelet or necklace. I had the whole "Ocean" theme in mind when choosing the class beads as well. I just started adding beads, silver spacers and caps and below is the result. I just love the way it turned out. There are charms and beads galore, but it's still dainty enough for my style.
These last earrings were inspired from a pink pair I made just like them. I used two different styles of glass flower beads and brass findings capped off with a really light blue fire polished glass bead.
