Traveling for Business

I started out making jewelry just over a year ago. I have learned so much in such a short time and now I'm on to a different adventure, promoting and selling my jewelry. I am working on getting into craft and art fairs and it would be great to be able to take a mini vacation to check out New York for some inspiration. I'd love to browse the boutiques for unique ways to set up and display my jewelry.

Of course I'll want to stay in a hotel close to shopping locations so I can really take it all in. It would be easiest to get around New York mostly on foot since I heard it can be a real pain to hail a cab, not to mention the traffic. No thanks, I'll walk! If I do want to venture out more, The Cooper Square Hotel is within a 10 minute walk of 13 subway lines. It's reasonable priced and I love the look of it. The hotel features Large modern rooms with custom B&B Italia furniture and a trendy bar and restaurant for when I want to kick back and relax. This trip wouldn't be all about business of course! A girl's gotta have some fun, especially on her first trip to the Big Apple!

It would be a lot of fun to stay in a hotel that had rooftop bars too though. 60 Thompson has Ultrahip bars A60 and Thom Bar, plus popular restaurant Kittichai on site. It's near shopping too, so I guess I could get the best of both worlds there and have an awesome view to go with it! I bet the view of the city is just beautiful up high at night.
